TRYOUTS OVERVIEW

Villarreal Virginia Academy will hold open tryouts by age group from March 1st,  through May, 2025.  Players must register (free) to Tryout for the club. Each player who is selected will receive an invitation to be part of  Villarreal CF Virginia. 

The club player fees cover the following:

•  Travel coaches, and staff salaries.
•  League fees, referee fees, and player's card fees.
•  Club Insurance.
•  County fields fees.
•  Administrative expenses, State and National registration fees, and other travel program expenses.

Additionally, players will pay team expenses:

•  Winter/indoor league, tournaments
•  Team uniforms, and other team activities.
•  Additional league play is not included.

TRYOUTS PROCEDURES

First, please register (free) online for 'Tryouts 2025-2026'.

Once you register for tryouts, you will be contacted by our Coaching Staff to schedule a date and time to attend our team training of your age group.

All players must have soccer turf shoes or turf cleats, shin guards, inflated soccer ball, and water. Parents must remain off the field and outside perimeter fences.
